Hi, I’m Taylor Corrien! The Chief Story Stylist and your very fabulous guide through the TCF Book Club! I’m a Romance Fiction lover and I’m loving building community here as “Sisters in Fiction.”

Our meetings have been impactful, to say the least. Full of laughter, lived experiences, and real raw conversations. The discussions take on a life of their own and escort us to places that we didn’t even know we needed to visit. Having so many different perspectives to hear from has been eye opening.

That’s the beauty of a book club: getting to understand the story through another person’s eyes.

Through this experience I’ve found so many plus size romance books and Fantasy reads for us to explore together. (Visit our Book Shelf.) While the presence and push of plus size romance stories could and should be greater, there are so many authors providing exactly the stories that we want to read and who simply get it.

The plus size Fantasy and Romance Fiction world is expanding. We are no longer accepting our stories being void of larger bodies. While some authors have been trailblazing from day one, it’s safe to say that more authors are listening to us and releasing the plus size love stories we’ve been craving and can’t get enough of. There are many plus size romance books in 2026 coming our way in the upcoming months and I want to keep you all in the know.

VOLIK by S.J. Tilly

We’ve got a Vampire Romance on our hands! VOLIK is the first installment of S.J. Tilly’s Bonded Souls Series. Imagine a world where vampires live amongst us, openly as everyday citizens. Little does she know this is where she’ll meet Jericho, who is too fine. Their arrangement might’ve been perfect if she weren’t starting to catch feelings for him. I wonder if Cassie’s story will encourage us to “do it for the plot” or stay out of the kitchen if we can’t handle the heat.

SECOND FIRST DATES by Gabriella Gamez

Don’t we all love some good forced proximity! Taking a dating hiatus can do wonders for the soul, but we all get that itch to get back in the game. Leti Malinado, our plus size FMC, is ready to take a dip back into the dating pool after four years. Like any other lady with a smartphone in the 2020s, her first stop is a dating app.

To her surprise, the first date she goes on is with a man she’s already had a first date with. The “second first date” is just as bad as the last. Too bad she can’t just ghost him. Julian lives in her building and is her brother’s roommate. Maybe he can’t be her lover, but maybe he can help her navigate the dating apps? Or maybe that’ll just give them more time to get to know each other.

This situation could get messy, but I guess we’ll find out.

WORLD’S OKAYEST ORACLE (RELUCTANTLY) SEEKS DEMON by Olivia Dade

Olivia Dade is about to deliver again! The author we can always count on to give us a big, bold FMC with a story to match. This time with an otherworldly read that dives deep into the “other side.” A paranormal romance, if you will. Our plus size FMC Gwen Wexloff is an Oracle with the ability to help everyday people get a peek into their future. Until now that’s been the extent of her powers, but they have expanded.

Gwen has had her first large-scale vision of a global issue that could change the world as we know it: a zombie apocalypse. There is only one person who can help her put a stop to this catastrophe, her sexy ex-lover, who also happens to be a demon. This story will surely have us on the edge of our seats in more ways than one.

We’ve got some incredible plus size romance books in 2026 set to release in the next few months. Maybe we’ll read one of these plus size romance books in our Book Club! All these stories seem like they’re likely to inspire conversations of all kinds.
